But when 18 million viewers got a look at Ally, the show struck fans' hearts like an arrow with home truths about love, and cracked funnybones with some of the strangest ensemble comedy ever seen. Sex, religion, and politics, but this was not business as usual, politically incorrect and loving it- it was an equal-opportunity offender.
